Do you really put wood boards down every time, or is that an extra charge?
Every time, no charge. Hardwood driveway boards are part of our standard delivery process — not an add-on, not a premium tier. We do this because a loaded roll-off on bare asphalt or pavers will cause damage. It's our responsibility to protect your property, so we've built it into how we operate from day one.
How quickly can I get a bin delivered?
In most of our primary service areas (Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Portsmouth), we can typically deliver next business day or even same day depending on availability. Rural routes like Pungo, Creeds, and Knotts Island are routed on specific days — call us and we'll give you the exact next available window for your address.
What can I throw in the dumpster?
General construction debris, household junk, furniture, appliances (call about Freon items), roofing shingles, drywall, wood, flooring, yard waste (in many cases), and renovation waste. Prohibited items include: hazardous materials, paint, chemicals, tires (in bulk), batteries, and liquids. If you're unsure about a specific item, call us — we'd rather answer before you load than turn away material at pickup.
What happens if I fill the bin before my rental period ends?
That's what the 48-hour swap guarantee is for. Call or text us when your bin is full. We'll have a replacement bin on site within 48 hours — no waiting, no "we'll schedule you when we can." Your project doesn't stop because your bin is full.
How does overage pricing work?
Our overage rate is 6 cents per pound (6¢/lb) above your included weight allowance — billed only if your load exceeds the limit. Included weight by bin: 10-yard = 1.5 tons (3,000 lbs); 15-yard = 2 tons (4,000 lbs); 20-yard = 2.5 tons (5,000 lbs). Overages are prorated down to the exact pound — you only pay for what you actually discard, weighed accurately at our local facility's certified scales. No rounding up to the nearest ton. If you think you'll run heavy, just call us and we'll help you choose the right bin size upfront.
Do you serve Knotts Island? What about rural addresses in Pungo and Creeds?
